Molly Gilman
Born in Brooklyn, raised in New Jersey ('hey, c'mon, that's not—why would you…? whoa!'), schooled at Vassar (B.A. in Classics); she took the Tri-State area for granted before traveling in college and on tour. New places rock, but she also appreciates home! Hereabouts, her career's been a wild vacillation between things like Pinkalicious (orig. cast), American Shakespeare Center (touring season), Metropolitan Opera (super), and Woyzeck Musical Deathmetal. Favorite past roles include Kate in Taming of the Shrew, Ariel in Tempest, Fabian in Twelfth Night, Abby in The Late Christopher Bean, Little Sally in Urinetown, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Ilona in She Loves Me; director, children's instructor, classical cellist, animal nut and indie bookstore clerk. All details on www.mollygilman.com . She thanks Write Act for this joyously enjoyable debut, giving her the unlikely chance of playing a Kit Kat Club Girl, and being her absolute favorite kind of team: in working hard together, having the most fun!
